Current Herpetology
Current Herpetology is the official journal of the Herpetological Society of Japan, and publishes original research articles, short notes, and reviews on biology and diversity of amphibians and reptiles in any regions of the world. Begun in 2000, the journal continues Acta Herpetologica Japonica (1964-1971) and Japanese Journal of Herpetology (1972-1999).
Journal of Mammalian Ova Research
Journal of Mammalian Ova Research is the official journal of the Japanese Society of Ova Research. The Journal is a biannual publication consisting of articles based on original studies and reviews dealing with gametogenesis, fertilization, embryo development, implantation, pregnancy and genetics, as well as assisted reproductive technology in the area of reproductive medicine.
Mammal Study
Mammal Study is the official journal of the Mammal Society of Japan. It publishes original articles, shorts communications, and reviews on all aspects of mammalogy quarterly, written in English.
Ornithological Science
Ornithological Science is the official journal of the Ornithological Society of Japan. The journal publishes reviews, original articles, short communications and comments covering all aspects of ornithology. Begun in 2002,BioOne includes issues published 2005 to present.
Paleonotological Research
Paleonotological Research (PR) is a quarterly, peer-reviewed international journal and focuses on original contributions dealing with paleontology and widely ranged allied sciences. It has been published since 1997 as a succession of the former journal Transactions and Proceedings of the Palaeontological Society of Japan. Contributions will emphasize global to local aspects and can cover all ages (Precambrian to the Quaternary, including modern analogs).
Species Diversity
Species Diversity is published by the Japanese Society of Systematic Zoology. It is the English-language successor of Proceedings of the Japanese Society of Systematic Zoology and complements the latter’s Japanese-language continuation, Taxa. The purpose of Species Diversity is to facilitate the international exchange of information about animal species diversity by publishing papers dealing with all aspects of taxonomy, systematics, speciation, biogeography, and life history research.
Zoological Science
Zoological Science is published by the Zoological Society of Japan and devoted to publication of original articles, reviews, and essays in the broad field of zoology. The journal was founded in 1984 as a result of the consolidation of Zoological Magazine (1888–1983) and Annotationes Zoologicae Japonenses (1897–1983), the former official journals of the Zoological Society of Japan. Each annual volume consists of twelve regular monthly issues.
